epajak.or.id – Bapenda Tangerang City Implements Public to Pay Taxes , Head of the Tangerang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) Kiki Wibawa appealed to the people of Tangerang City who have not yet paid the Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), to immediately carry out their obligations, before the due date on September 30.
“Let’s pay your taxes immediately, payments can be made on-line. That is, it can be accessed through the BJB Digi application, Bukalapak, QRIS, Tokopedia, Blibli, OVO, Gopay and LinkAja. Meanwhile, apart from urban village outlets, it can also be done at all BJB Bank counters, Post Offices, Alfamart or Indomaret,” he said in an official statement, quoted by Tax Magazine on Friday (08/09).
In addition, to make it easier for the public to make payments for Land and Building Tax (PBB) and Fees for Acquisition of Land and Building Rights (BPHTB), Bapenda also presents the Bang Baja and Nong Dara Keluyuran program which stands for Bapenda Juara Keliling Kelurahan Services. Where, this program is still running until now in 104 villages.
“Bang Baja and Nong Dara target areas that are far away from UPT/MPP in taking care of PBB and BPHTB. So, this is the system of picking up the ball to the community,” he said.
Furthermore, Kiki said that if the taxpayer has not paid and passed the due date on September 30, a 2 percent fine will be imposed every month.
“With that, let’s pay your taxes immediately, through a variety of available payment options. In addition, the public can monitor information on Bapenda programs and services on social media Instagram @bapenda_tangerangkota,” she said.
Previously, Bapenda Tangerang City also reported that throughout August 2023, it had succeeded in collecting tax revenue from the PBB-P2 and BPHTB sectors in the independence discount program amounting to Rp 155 billion. With details of PBB-P2 amounting to Rp 77.7 billion and BPHTB amounting to Rp 77.3 billion.

During the independence relaxation, Bapenda Tangerang City recorded 43,823 transactions utilizing PBB-P2 relaxation with 8,208 Tax Object Numbers (NOP). As for BPHTB, the number of transactions that took advantage of the relaxation was 985 transactions.
In fact, PBB-P2 revenue in August increased by 123 percent from July revenue, and BPHTB revenue in August increased by 19 percent from July revenue. With these achievements, PBB-P2 revenue until August 2023 amounted to Rp 431.5 and BPHTB revenue until August 2023 amounted to Rp 349.6 billion.
“This is an extraordinary achievement, the Tangerang City Government expresses its deepest gratitude to all taxpayers, for their participation. So that the contribution of taxes paid can be maximized and can be felt throughout the wider community of Tangerang City,” Kiki explained.
