epajak.or.id – DJP Gives DGT Awards to Tax Reform Supporters, As an appreciation for the consistency of stakeholders’ support for Tax Reform, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) gave awards titled Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) Awards to a number of external stakeholders.
“We would like to thank the ladies and gentlemen who go hand in hand with us, the business actors and other stakeholders who continue to help and together, to make improvements that we must strive for from time to time,” said Director General of Taxes Suryo Utomo in the Sarasehan and Update on Tax Reform event at Chakti Buddhi Bhakti Hall, DGT Head Office, Jakarta,
The award recipients are divided into several categories, namely the category of international donor agencies, tax centers, mass media, and the category of government agencies and associations.
On the occasion, Suryo shared the latest developments surrounding the Tax Reform agenda with stakeholders, including the plan to implement the Tax Administration System (CTAS) next year. In fact, he had the opportunity to launch several taxation services as a manifestation of convenience for taxpayers.
The launched services are tax education web update, tax chat bot, and WhatsApp (WA) bot for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The update of the taxation education web produces a fresher education web with six main modules of the education program. Starting from tax awareness inclusion, renjani application (tax volunteer for the country), tax study room, educational anjangsana, DGT library visit, and business development service (BDS) module. One other module is still being developed, namely the early childhood module.

Meanwhile, the tax chat bot is an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant named Fiska and Fisko. These virtual assistants can be accessed 24/7 through the tax website for tax information, such as Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), forgetting EFIN, tax return reporting, NIK-NPWP matching, and others.
As for WA bot UMKM, this service has the same function as the tax chat bot. However, the designation is more specialized for MSME taxpayers, such as information on NPWP, data changes, income tax, MSMEs in taxation, and so on.
Not only that, DGT also launched a book Tax Reform from Time to Time.
“We have packaged a snapshot of DGT’s journey since 1983 in a book on the long journey of tax reform to recall what has happened while evaluating what should be improved in the future,” concluded Suryo.
