Epajak – SMF Partners with Dinar Bank to Reduce Backlog of Home Ownership in Lombok , PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF collaborates with PT Dinar Ashri Sharia People’s Economic Bank or Bank Dinar in supporting the government’s program to reduce the backlog of home ownership in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Where the cooperation has been realized through the signing of the Uncommitted Facility Line cooperation agreement some time ago. Referring to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Susenas 2022, the backlog of ownership in NTB Province reached 127 thousand units or 8.4 percent of the total households in NTB Province.
Head of SMF’s Sharia Business Unit (UUS) Leo Khadafi revealed that this cooperation is part of SMF’s strategic plan which is in line with the role and function of the Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) to support efforts to fulfill housing both on the supply and demand sides.
“This time we are partnering with Bank Dinar, which is the largest BPRS in NTB Province, to facilitate end-to-end housing financing starting from financing for developers for house construction, Sharia KPR for home ownership, as well as house renovations and housing-related microfinance,” he said in an official statement, quoted on Saturday (23/09).
In this collaboration, SMF will provide housing finance distribution facilities to Bank Dinar with a value of up to Rp 50 billion. The funds will be used to expand access to home ownership for the people of NTB.
“This cooperation is expected to support the increase in the distribution of Home Ownership Loans (KPR) in the region, so that it can help residents who need and do not yet have housing. Therefore, this collaboration is expected to help the Government in reducing the backlog of home ownership,” he added.

Furthermore, Leo explained that later the people of Lombok can access various benefits available in this housing financing facility. Starting from financing housing construction, home purchase, home renovation, to the need to build sanitation and clean water channels for residents to live in.

Meanwhile, President Director of Bank Dinar Mustaen said that Bank Dinar is committed to paying more attention to supporting the property sector massively through various programs that are intended both directly to the community and financing to developers. In addition to Sharia KPR financing, Bank Dinar has also launched the Griya Mikro Financing Program, which is intended for people who want to buy land, build houses and renovate houses.
“We hope that this synergy can answer the needs and facilitate the community in terms of having a decent residential house and improve the quality of society in the NTB region. Hopefully in the future the synergy between Bank Dinar and SMF will be more solid and open up greater financing potential,” Mustaen said.
